Humbravana is a place, a land that exists
Where it is and how to get there is a mystery.
A wayfarer named Lucoel, who was an artist and musician, wandered through the land and seas of Humbravana (HV) for many years.
He sketched and jotted down his observations in numerous little notebooks, and as a result of his habits, left many detailed records illustrating the life and spirit of HV.
Throughout the peaceful countryside of HV, harmonic, earthly sounds and joyful community music interweave with the deeply rooted instruction and enjoyment of Silence.
Interconnectedness with nature is respectfully understood and the Elemental Spirits of the earth, waters and air are greatly honored by all.
The receptive feminine attributes of intuition and visionary power are valued and utilized.
Kindness and compassion are expected.
The League of the Seven Serene Houses primarily governs HV. The House leaders are Defenders of the Peace and required to attend the Serenity School.
The Bare Headed Sarrath is elected as the ‘Great Servant’ and has supreme moral authority. He travels throughout the land and owns no possessions except his horse and the clothes on his back.
Darkness is acknowledged and entered consciously, despite the fear. Within the Great Halls, an inner landscape of thresholds and passages reveals the deeper journey toward self-realization.
The shadows shift between the darkness and the light.
The traveler senses—is aware—observes and is absorbed.
What is real and what is imagined? What rises and what falls?
With focus and intention, the artist creates the forms of his chosen world.
